 Hi friend,

 My name is Janiel and I'm going to tell you about my Carnival. During Carnival I dressed up as a homeless person and as a devil.

I went to España Square to look at the people wearing different costumes.They were all dressed up in creative costumes.

I ate filloas too.

Hi kids!!!

Carnival is coming and I love it. All around the world people celebrate Carnival with large, popular events that last several days.

My village is Verín.  Here Carnival last a week (7days).The typical costumes are "Cigarróns" .

In my school students from 6th grade will be dress up as  tennis player. I´ll  bring a white skirt and a white shirt.

This Carnival I dressed up as a rapper. I was wearing a cap, a large swearshirt, jeans, glasses and a cowboy belt. I had a great time in Carnival. It´s a very funny celebration in which everybody is disguised as they want. In Carnival there are typical meals like filloas.....

"My happy carnival mask" by Óscar, 5 A

Hello, my friends!

This is my happy mask of Carnival. It's got three red, purple and blue feathers on the nose. Under the feathers it has got a pink star. On the top of the mask it's got a lot of green circles. Between the eyes, it's red and orange. The eyes are white. Around the eyes it's yellow, brown and orange.

''OREJAS'' by Rosalia, 5 A

Hi friends!!!

I'm going to tell you how to cook ''OREJAS'', a typical carnival recipe. Delicious!

INGREDIENTS FOR SIX PEOPLE:

400 g of flour.

3 eggs.

50 g of butter.

1 cup of anise.

Baking powder.

Sugar.

Water.

Salt.

PREPARATION:

1-Mix the flour with the eggs, the butter, the baking powder , the anise, a little cup of warm water and a pinch of salt. Knead it. Wait for about 25 minutes.

2-Cut the dough in pieces and stretch using a rolling pin.

3-Fry the "OREJAS" in very hot oil.

4- Take them out and put sugar on.

Hello my friends!!!
Carnival is very fun for me.Many people dressed up as different characters .I like to dress up a lot. I I enjoy a lot and it´s great fun.
I made this costume at face in a hole. It´s a fairy. I love fairies. Upload your face and that´s all.It´s a funny photo of myself.
It has got pink hair, a black top and a pink skirt.It has transparent wings and black boots.
It´s very funny and easy to try on different costumes.
I like this costume very much!.

Hello¡¡¡¡

This is Carnivall.O Antroido is the name given to Carnival in Galicia. Masks and fancy dress fill the city streets. There are parades with floats and carnival groups.On Ash Wednesday, there is a satirical procession that ends up with the burning of " Meco" , a doll that represents the Carnival. The celebration can also be felt through the gastronomy, with dishes such as Galician stew, filloas (like pancakes), shoulder of pork , chorizos and potatoes.

It´s purple , green and orange. It has got blue and orange spots.

It has got two hearts and two flowers, one blue and one pink.

This is my carnival mask. It's purple with a big and yellow star, It´s got a pink flower and blue and purple spots. It's got a small purple feather too. It hasn´t got hearts but I think it´s beautiful.

This is my recipe of Galician crepes: filloas.

You need:
6 eggs
300 grames of flour
1/2 litres of milk
butter
anise
salt....
Eating filloas is traditional in Carnival.They are typical in our Carnival. I hope you like the recipe.

This is a carnival mask.Do you like carnival?.This is a slightly ugly mask.I don´t really like this mask.
Tomorrow is the day. We are going to celebrate Carnival at our school. Kids from 5 grade are going to dress as the dancers from the movie " Fame". I like this film. Our Carnival is dedicated to the cinema.
