Hi again friends!

Last term I read Machu Picchu at school. This book tells us about the Incas and their lost city, Machu Picchu. Now I know who were the Incas, who discovered Machu Picchu, where it is and what it looks like .

In the book there is also the story of Abby, Sam and Josh. The three friends travel back to the time of the Incas in Machu Picchu . They meet an Inca boy, Titu, and help him to rescue his sister Juana from the Spanish soldiers.

It is an exciting adventure and I liked it very much.

A CORUÑA by María Rivas 5ºC

Hi again friends!
A Coruña is the town where I live. It’s a beautiful town by the sea. There is a promenade with a tram and a bike path. There are two beaches Riazor and Orzán. They are in the centre of the town.
There is also an ancient lighthouse called The Tower of Hercules.

" Happy Easter" by María R, 5C

Hi kids!.
Easter ( Semana Santa) is the most important Christian celebration in Spain. We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. It begins with Palm Sunday ( Domingo de Ramos) and ends with Easter Monday ( Lunes de Pascua). On Palm Sunday, I go to my grandparents´in Mugardos. There I carry a palm leaf with sweets and chocolates to church. After the priest blesses the palms I share all the sweets with my family and we eat them.
Easter Sunday is also special. On this day, my godparents give me a cake with an egg on it ( Mona) and we eat it after lunch.
The best things about Easter are the shool holiday and all the chocolates and sweets I can eat.

My Pet, Manchitas by María R 5ºC

Hiiiii again friends!!!

This is my pet Manchitas. She's a guinea pig. She's got chestnut, white and brown fur. She's got 4 short legs but she hasn't got a tail. Manchitas eats grass, fruit and vegetables, and drinks water. I LOVE MY PET.
