Wilma Tenderfoot By Inés 6B

I read several books but my favourites are Wilma Tenderfoot´s collection they´re many books (I read "The case of frozen hearts" and "The Putrid poison" ).

They are very funny detective books. The principal character is a ten years old girl who wants to be a detective. Somewhere between France and England there is an island that no one has ever bothered to discover. On it lives Wilma Tenderfood, a determined girl who dreams of one day becoming a World Famous Detective.

I love them. The author is Emma Kennedy . She is and English actress, writer and television presenter.

The books aren´t  mine because I took them in a  public library but They were very well kept.

.I didn't have headphones because I hate them.I had a DVD player.Using it I watched a lot of films.

When I was 1 I  didn't use a digital camera but my dad had one of this.

I  went to the park with my friends.

I didn't have a memory stick.I didn't have a laptop,but I had a lot of dresses because I loved dresses.

My granny likes technology the problem is that my grandfather doesn´t.

My granny´s got an enormous television and a great DVD player. She hasn´t got a computer because my grandfather thinks that it´s not necessary.

She likes Ipads but she thinks that they are very expensive.

Hi classmates,

When I´m older I want to be a dance teacher because I LOVE DANCING. I go to a small studio in La Coruña to practice jazz dancing. Jazz dancing is energetic and fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns.

They wear comfortable clothes . I think  the best thing about this job is that it´s  fun. They train very hard.

I´m going to tell something about one of the most famous Peacemakers in the world: Martin Luther King was born in Atlanta on January 15, 1929, He was a pastor of the Baptist church, he developed a crucial role for the civil rights movement for African Americans. He received the Nobel Peace price in 1964. He led the march on Washington where he delivered his famous speech "I Have a Dream",where he imagined a tolerant and peaceful America.

In 1968 he was assassinated on the balcony of a motel.

This is one of the symbols of Peace.

This symbol was used widely in the 60´s to express Peace.The story goes that: it was originaly designed to promote PEACE and Nuclear Disarmament and the artist use "n" and "d" to create this image.

"Caves"by Belén, 6B

    

Hi classmates,
Last term I read "Caves" in the English classroom.This book tells us about  caves.Now I know that:

*  The Mammoth Cave in Kentucky in the USA is the biggest cave system in the world.
* Most caves are limestone caves.
* It can take one year for a stalactite to grow 2 centimetres.
* Ice caves are the most dangerous kinds of caves.
* The longest lava cave is  in Hawaii and is more than 11 kilometres long.
In the book there is also a story " The lucky accident".The story is about four children who discovered an amazing cave with paintings more than 20, 000 years old!.

"An interesting job" by Daniel Rodríguez, 6B

I want to be a boat captain because I love boats and the sea.

Because I love boats.A boat captain is the boss of the ship. He oversees the crew and the entire running of the boat. They don´t work in an office.They work in ships. They usually wear a uniform : blue trousers, a blue jacket and a blue short hat. I think it´s a hard work. The best thing 

 I think that is a hard work.

They visit many different countries. I think that´s the best thing about the job.

My dream is to be an actress when I am older. There are many actors and actresses that I´d love to work with and I´d love to star in a Hollywood film.Acting  is very fun and  exciting,but it is also a hard work.
