"San Juan´s night " by Edgar , 5B.

Hi, mates!.

My post is about a magic night, San Juan´s night. San Juan´s night is on the eve of June 24th. It´s the welcome of summer. The beaches are full of bonfires, music, dance, sardines.. Bonfires are usually made on the beach and they burn all night.All the people from A Coruña are on the beach this night celebrating the arrival of the summer.

Balmoral clastle is another of the Queen of England's castles.The royal family usually go to Balmoral for Christmas.
Balmoral Clastle was a present from Prince Albert to his wife,queen Victoria.She was queen of England from 1837 to 1901.She loved Scotland and Balmoral.

Windsor Castle is one of the places where Queen Elizabeth II of England lives.

It is the biggest inhabited castle in the world.

William the Conqueror (1028-1087) invaded England in 1066 and built this castle. It is 45 kilometres, West of London.

"My favourite animal is the budgie" by Dani ,5 B

I love birds, but I like budgies best, because they are very funny animals.
They have got some pretty colours, and a brilliant plumage.
They like to look at the mirrors, because they think that there is another budgie.
If you play with them, they can become docile.

Dover Castle is a very big, old castle in England. It is on top of the famous white cliffs of Dover. There are also hundreds of tunnels in the cliffs under the castle.

I´m going to Tenerife! by Dani , 5B

Hello friends.
Would you like to go on holiday?. I have a great place to visit "Tenerife". It is very hot but there are water parks such as the Siam Park, one of the most famous. There are zoos like the Loro Park.Tenerife also has the highest elevation of Spain, a World Heritage Site that is the third largest volcano in the world from its base, El Teide.

Visit Lisbon! by Inés, 5B

Come with me to Lisbon. It´s a beautiful city.It´s the capital city of Portugal. You can visit the zoo and see the dolphins show. You can visit the castle of Saint George in the historical centre. You can walk in the Alfama district and sleep in a five starts hotel by the Tajo river.

I suggest making a short trip to Sintra near Lisboa. In this village you can visit the Pena Palace, it´s like a Fairy tales castle!.

Christopher Columbus was an explorer, colonizer and navigator. It is not known exacitly when he was born.
He was famous because he discovered América. He died in the year 1505 in Valladolid.

Cervantes was born on 29 September, 1547. He was a soldier, novelist and poet. His most famous work was " El Quijote de la Mancha". He died on 22 April 1616.

Hi!.
I´m Dani, and I´m from Spain.Last summer I was in the Amazonia( Brazil) on holiday and I met Indiana Jones. He was wearing brown pants, a brown jacket and a brown hat. I was wearing a red tracksuit, but it was very hot.It was incredible!.

This is Rafael Nadal. He was born on the 3rd of June in Manacor "Balearic Islands" in 1986.
He is tall and thin. He´s famous. He was the winner for 10 grand slam titles: 6 Roland Garros, 2 Wimbledon Championship and 2 USA Opens. He´s got the gold medal at the Olimpics Games of Beijing 2008. He´s the best tennis player in the world.

LONDON CITY.Come with us and discover LONDON! There is lots to see and do!.You can stay in a hotel in the center ,you can ride on a red double decker bus and see BIG BEN. Or you can go on a boat on the river Thames and visit the London Eye.You can see the Houses of Parliament and The Tower of London. You can relax at Hyde Park.In the picture you can see the London Eye at night.It´s beautiful.It´s got lots of colours : red, purple, blue...

Barca won the Champion League.

Barça is the new champion of the Champions. It won the Champion League yesterday in Wembley. It´s the fourth cup of the Champions League that it gets.It was an incredible football match and Lionel Messi was the best!.Lionel Messi was born on 24 June 1987 in Rosario. He is an Argentine footballer who plays for FC Barcelona and the Argentina national team as a forward or winger. Considered one of the best football players of his generation. Messi received several Ballon d´Or and FIFA world Player of the Year nominations by the age of 21 and won both by the age of 22. He also won the 2010 FIFA Ballon dÓr at the age of 23.Congratulations!.
